We left Tempe early and arrived at Dodger Stadium just after noon.

We met up with my mom, sister, niece, and nephew, as well as DeAnna and a couple of my sister's friends for the game. We were pleasently surprised to see Dave and Roel had made the trip up for the game.

It felt good to be back in California and good to be surrounded by family again.

The Nationals got out to a 2-0 lead in the 2nd. The Dodgers would pull back ahead though with blasts from Jose Cruz, JD Drew, & former Sun Devil Andre Ethier. The bullpen held on for a 4-2 victory for the Azul.

It was great having my sister's family and my mom at the game as they had not gotten to share a piece of the trip with us yet.

After the game Dan decided to go back down to SD with Dave and Roel as I continued back to Fullerton. After making a quick pit stop at home to clean up, Mom, Dan, & I went down to Goodwin Field to watch the Fullerton Flyers take on the Reno Silver Sox.

I had been interning for the Flyers before we started the trip. I enjoyed catching up with everyone and talking about the trip a little bit.

It'll be nice to sleep in my own bed for the first time in 50 days.
